Omut presents the new collection with traditional headpieces inspiration behind: from Muslim nikah to medieval European cal cap.
Omut's new collection is looking into the role of head accessories in certain cultures where partially or fully covered head or face aim to designate woman's submissive position to a man. However face accessories are now firmly encoded into modern pop culture: whether to add more expression to one's look and stand out of the crowd or rather use it as a sign of desired privacy, following the anonymity trend.
All collections pieces mastered of steel and aluminium, decorated with leather fringe, and come in two colors combos: silver/nude or nickel/black.
The collection inspired by traditional headpieces, bride's image, anonymity trend and Martin Mariela's 1989-2009 exhibition in Paris.
